Anxiety and stress are becoming more and more common amongst children and teenagers all over Australia. With greater pressures at school and the new challenges of a life lived amongst social media and other technologies, life is becoming increasingly challenging for young people.
In this class, designed for young people aged 8-17, Gen Dornying will give simple and practical advice on how to find freedom from stress and have a more relaxed outlook on life. By putting these positive thinking techniques into practice, everyone can enjoy a happier life, more satisfying relationships and a peaceful mind. Everybody is welcome.
The teacher of this class is Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Dornying. Gen Dornying is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia located in Melbourne and has been teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 15 years. He teaches all over Australia and is well loved for his sincerity, warmth and humility.
