A MEDITATION PUBLIC TALK
Wednesday 22 August – 7-9pm
Although our pursuit of enjoyment is becoming more and more fast-paced and sophisticated, our current attitude of neglecting the welfare of others is blocking our experience of real happiness. By engaging in the powerful and ancient meditations on taking away suffering and giving happiness, however, we can start to overcome this attitude.
In this public talk Gen Kelsang Dornying will teach how to engage in these magical meditations and thus start to enjoy the happiness that comes from an open heart. By pursuing these practices, we will develop a strong and stable mind, cultivate the power to truly benefit others and experience for ourself the pure enjoyment that comes from a pure mind. Everybody is welcome.
The teacher giving this talk is Gen Kelsang Dornying. Gen Dornying is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia and Kadampa Meditation Centre Melbourne and teaches with a warmth and humility that is naturally inspiring.
