A MEDITATION PUBLIC TALK
Friday 22 June – 7-9pm
In order to progress along the path to lasting happiness, we need to understand how to systematically train in meditation. Without clear guidance on the sequence in which to meditate and the way to meditate, we can easily become confused or discouraged and experience obstacles in our practice.
Join Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Dornying for an inspiring evening on how to begin and joyfully progress through a life characterized by meditation. By gaining the insights contained within a special set of meditations, we can make our life happy and meaningful, temporarily solve our human problems and ultimately find pure and everlasting happiness through controlling our negative states of mind. Everybody is welcome.
The teacher giving this talk is Gen Kelsang Dornying. Gen Dornying is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia and Kadampa Meditation Centre Melbourne and teaches with a warmth and humility that is naturally inspiring.
